MONACO MIRANTE
There are places that speak for themselves…
In Monaco Mirante, the sea blends with the scent of Mediterranean scrub, the light gently caresses the dunes, and each day becomes an invitation to live more slowly and more mindfully.
Here, nature is not just a backdrop — it is a companion on the journey.
And every experience is a different way of listening to it.

Cycling Between Sea and Olive Groves
Cycling here has a different flavor. It is not just sport, nor simply a ride: it is an exploration of the soul.
One of the most evocative routes crosses the Salina dei Monaci Nature Reserve, a silent expanse where water mirrors the sky and, at certain times of the year, flocks of pink flamingos appear.
The cycle path runs along the lagoon and continues toward the dunes of Torre Colimena, where the sea begins to make itself known with its salty scent.
Other itineraries lead through centuries-old olive trees that shape the inland landscape, red fields dotted with prickly pears, and trails connecting Monaco Mirante to the wild coastline of Mirante Vecchio.
Cycling here is a way to truly enter the territory — with slowness and wonder.

Kayak & SUP: Discovering Coves and Crystal Waters
When the water is calm, the sea of Campomarino becomes a sheet of crystal.
Setting out by kayak or on a SUP means following the curve of the coastline and discovering corners unseen from land: small sandy coves, smooth rock formations, shallow seabeds where the water’s color looks like a painting.
Along the way, you can admire the unspoiled and wild area of Monaco Mirante, the turquoise seabeds of Borraco, and rocky outcrops perfect for snorkeling.
In the early morning hours, the sea is an invitation to stillness.

Boat Tours: The Coast from Its Most Beautiful Perspective
Stepping onto a boat and leaving the shore behind is a simple yet moving ritual.
From the sea, the coastline reveals its most authentic soul: soft dunes, coastal towers, waters that shift from emerald green to deep blue.
The tour may include the bay of Torre Borraco, among the clearest in the area, the coast of Campomarino with its pale seabeds, swimming stops in the most transparent waters, and an aperitivo on board as the sun sets, turning everything to gold.
An experience that lingers in the heart.

Yoga Among the Dunes
Sunrise over our sea is a sacred moment.
The sand is cool, the air still, the sky slowly ignites with light.
Practicing yoga at dawn by the sea means entering the new day in the most natural way possible:
with a deep breath, listening only to the gentle sound of the waves.
Each session is guided in carefully chosen tranquil locations, such as the wild beach of Monaco Mirante or small natural terraces nestled among dunes and junipers.

Dream Beaches
Our coastline is renowned for the purity of its sea.
Each beach has its own unique character:
- Monaco Mirante — wild, silent, perfect for those seeking freedom.
- Campomarino — fine sand, very shallow and crystal-clear waters.
- San Pietro in Bevagna — a turquoise sea reminiscent of the Caribbean.
- Dunes of Torre Borraco — a small natural paradise to respect and experience gently.
A sea you will never forget.

The Agricultural Heart of the Land
Our territory is famous for two treasures that tell the story of this land:
Primitivo di Manduria wine and extra virgin olive oil.
Tastings take place in historic wineries where wine has rested in barrels for generations, in white masserie surrounded by countryside, and in small family-run olive mills producing intensely fragrant oils.
A journey through bold flavors and family stories.

Puglia in Your Hands
Making orecchiette with a local massaia is much more than a cooking lesson — it is an encounter.
Hands in flour, stories flowing gently, spontaneous smiles.
At the end, you taste what you have created, often with a fresh tomato sauce or traditional turnip tops.
A simple yet deeply authentic experience.

Grottaglie: Where Ceramics Become Poetry of Earth and Fire
Just a few minutes’ drive away, the Ceramics Quarter of Grottaglie is a world of its own.
Workshops, courtyards, ancient kilns: everything speaks of an art passed down for centuries.
You can watch artisans at the wheel, purchase unique pieces, or create a small object with your own hands.

Lecce: The Lady of Stone
Lecce is a city not meant to be crossed, but to be savored slowly.
In the heart of the historic center, time seems to have settled upon the Baroque façades that glow gold at sunset.
As you wander through narrow streets, Lecce stone becomes a soft fabric, shaped by patient hands.
The Basilica of Santa Croce suddenly appears like an embroidery of light, while Piazza del Duomo opens up—silent and majestic—like a theater ready to reveal an ancient story.
In the papier-mâché workshops, art takes form through time-honored gestures.
And as the day fades, a glass of wine in Piazza Sant’Oronzo becomes the perfect ending to a day filled with wonder..

Taranto: Between Two Seas
Taranto has a strong, authentic, vibrant character.
Here, the sea is not just a backdrop—it is the city’s soul.
The Old Town, with its narrow alleys, carries the scent of history and salt air.
The MArTA, one of Italy’s most captivating museums, houses the Gold of Taranto, gleaming like the sun reflected on the Mar Grande.
Along the seafront, the afternoon wind carries the calls of fishermen, while the Swing Bridge tells the story of a city suspended between past and future.
And then comes the sweetest surprise: the dolphins that inhabit the gulf, an encounter that leaves a luminous trace in the heart.

Otranto: Italy’s Gateway to the East
Otranto is a city that opens like a book filled with color.
From the castle to the cathedral, every step is a journey through history.
The Tree of Life mosaic, vast and mysterious, seems to move beneath the light streaming through the nave.
From the harbor, the sea reveals a deep, enveloping turquoise, while the wind tells stories of sailors and distant encounters.
Just outside the historic center, the Bauxite Quarry appears like a surreal landscape: burnt red earth, emerald-green water, and absolute silence.
And sunsets along the city walls are a gentle embrace, impossible to forget.

Gallipoli: The Ionian Pearl
Gallipoli is a breath of light.
Its historic center, set upon an island of stone, is a weave of narrow streets, ancient churches, and sudden vistas opening onto the sea.
At the harbor, fishermen’s boats sway gently, and the scent of freshly caught fish fills the market—lively and sincere.
In the evening, light ignites along the walls and the sea becomes a mirror of fire.
The beaches—from Purità to Punta della Suina—are an invitation to joy: pale sand, clear waters, and perfect corners where time seems to stretch.

Itria Valley: Trulli, Vineyards, and White Hills
Entering the Itria Valley feels like stepping into a suspended place.
The hills roll gently, trulli dot the landscape like small stone fairytales, and the air is scented with herbs and countryside.
Ostuni, shining like snow under the sun, suddenly appears atop a hill.
Locorotondo, with its whitewashed rooftops, is a balcony overlooking the valley.
Cisternino, instead, welcomes visitors with the warmth of its bracerie, where the scent of grilled meat is an irresistible invitation.
Here, everything is harmony: vineyards, dry-stone walls, and silences rich with nature.
It is a place that invites slowness.

Matera: Where Time Stood Still
Matera is an emotion that cannot be described—only lived.
The Sassi unfold like a labyrinth of silence and stone, a city carved by the patience of time.
Every cave tells of a distant past, every alley is a journey into memory.
From the Murgia Materana, the view embraces a landscape that feels prehistoric, where light shapes everything with an almost sacred gentleness.
At sunset, Matera becomes a living nativity scene: golden lights ignite the rock-hewn houses and the sky fills with impossible hues.
It is a place that enters the heart and stays there, like an ancient memory.
